Whiteside Marion, OH Artist's Statement: "I enlarged an Ohio map until it fit my dimensions on the graph paper. I outlined the state with the signature squares. The backing is made up of various size Ohio stars, all made of different millenuim fabrics. My quilter drafted the 88 Ohio counties and quilted those into the state. "
